Republic Day Special : Cheese and Bell Peppers Filled Pasta Shells


Tricolour Pasta Shells



Ingredients- 
1cup pasta sauce
3 jumbo shells of three colours(orange-white and green ) 
2garlic cloves, minced,
1 medium sweet onion, diced,
2 tsp extra virgin olive oil,
2tbsps fresh basil leaves, chopped finely,
1/2cup finely chopped three colors bell peppers
1 cup grated cottage cheese,
1sp processed cheese,
salt, or to taste,
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste,
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice,
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional),
Parmesan cheese-(optional)


Method -

Cook shells in a pot of boiling water until al dente, about 8-11 minutes. Be careful not to overcook. Drain shells and set aside to cool.

Grease a casserole dish. I used 3shells but you’ll need to cook more than that as some shells will break during the cooking process.

Preheat oven to 400F. In a large pan sauté the garlic and onion in the oil for about 5 minutes.Add chopped three colors bell peppers .Season with salt and pepper. Add in the chopped basil, and sauté for another 2minutes.Add grated cheese. Stir in processed cheese ,salt, pepper, lemon, all to taste. Over medium heat, cook for about 2-3minutes or until most of the water cooks off.

Spoon about ¾ cup of pasta sauce into the casserole dish and spread around. Add about 2 tbsp of cheese mixture into each stuffed shell and place shells on top of pasta sauce.Arrange first orange,then white in the last green.Cover shells with the remaining pasta sauce and cheese. Cover dish with tin foil and poke several air holes. Bake at 400F for about 10 minutes or until heated throughout.

Sprinkle red chill flakes and Parmesan cheese .Garnish with basil leaves. Can serve with a basic green salad and garlic bread.

Crunchy Yummy Cutlet 

Can you imagine biscuits that taste as exciting as any of Indian cutlets or pav bhaji? Well, here is a creation that will just about fulfill that dream! Salted biscuits with a topping of tomatoes, onions and mixed vegetables sautéed in butter and perked up with tomato ketchup and coriander, is sure to be quite interesting to the palate. One thing to keep in mind is that you can keep the topping ready, but should assemble the Mixed Vegetable Topping on Salted Biscuits just before serving so that biscuits remain crunchy.

Crunchy Yummy Cutlet 

Ingredients


24 salted biscuits3/4 cup finely chopped and boiled mixed vegetables (french beans , carrots and green peas)1/4 cup finely chopped onions


1/4 cup finely chopped tomatoes
2 tsp butter
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste
12 tsp grated processed cheese for sprinkling



Steps to follow : 


  1. Heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the onions and green chillies and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  2. Add the tomatoes, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 minute, while stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the boiled mixed vegetables, tomato ketchup, coriander, chilli powder and salt, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  4. Put a little mixture on each salted biscuit and sprinkle ½ tsp of cheese evenly over it.
  5. Serve immediately.

Hello everyone!!! How are you all doing?


Cassata ice cream is very famous and well known for all most all of us. But today I am gonna share with Cassata sweet recipe.


It's very easy and require few ingredients to make this yummy and colourful sweet.

Cream paneer cassata

Ingredients required

Grated paneer 4 tbsp
Vanilla icecream 4 tbsp
Crushed Waffle Biscuits in 4 different flavour (1 cup of each flavour- vanilla, pineapple, strawberry and orange)
Powdered Sugar 4 tsp
Dry fruits roughly chopped 4 tbsp


Steps to follow:


1. In a bowl take vanilla crushed waffle biscuits into add 1 tbsp vanilla ice cream, 1 tbsp grated paneer, 1 tsp powdered sugar and 1 tbsp dry fruit. Knead it into a smooth dough.


2. Make similar type of dough using pineapple, strawberry and orange crushed waffle biscuits.


3. Take the dough and flatten it into round using the rolling pin. Do this with all the other three dough.


4. Now pile all this flatten rounds onto each other. Cut into the desired shape.


5. Decorate it with cake decoration. Keep into refrigerator for 30mins. Serve chilled.

Yummy Healthy Vegetable Sandwich

Got bored with the same usual vegetable or masala sandwich? Then, get ready for a new version of sandwich.

Today, I am gonna serve you with a healthy and yummy version of veggie sandwich. It's delicious and healthy at the same time.


I am not a chef but try my hands on making different recipes in my free time. This is one such recipe I tried and it turned out beautiful. Hope you guys love it. Happy Cooking !!!

Ingredients :

2 cup grated Carrot
2 cup grated Cabbage
1 cup chopped Capsicum
3 chopped Onions
1 cup chopped Spinach
1 cup grated Beet root
1 cup grated Potato
2 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tsp Pepper
Salt as per taste
1 cup grated Processed cheese
1 tbsp Sugar
3 tbsp Butter
Bread slices

Process:

1. In a pan, add butter. After it melts add all the vegetables into it and close the pan lid leaving it to cook till soft.

2. Once they are cooked and soft add salt to taste, pepper and sugar to it.

3. Cook for a while and off the stove. Add lemon juice and mix well.

4. Take bread slices, apply some butter/ghee on it and place the mix on the bread. Top it up with the grated cheese.

5. Toast it till light brown.

Our yummy and healthy vegetable sandwich is ready to be served. Serve it with ketchup and french fries.
